The AI Safety Seeding Initiative (AISSI) is run by Thomas Rodskog and Jason Chin. Questions or deletion requests: team@aisafetyseeding.org.

What we collect and why

When you request our matching form, we use your email address to send it to you and notify our team. If you submit the form, we use your answers and any materials you choose to provide to review your request, arrange possible advising, and follow up. Requesting the form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Who handles this information

Our team handles requests and may share relevant information with an advisor involved in your matching or support. We use Airtable for matching forms and responses, Resend to deliver emails, and Google Workspace for team email. Email notifications may also reach team members through configured forwarding.

Cloudflare Workers processes email requests, and Cloudflare Turnstile uses technical signals, including your IP address, to prevent abuse. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum. The site also uses GoatCounter for website usage statistics, including page visits and interaction counts. Our signup code does not include your email address in analytics events.

How long we keep it

We keep application and contact information while reviewing your request or providing support. We delete inactive application records within 12 months of our last meaningful contact with you, or your submission if there is no further contact. Automated messages do not restart this period. Information needed for ongoing advising is reviewed annually, and removed when no longer needed.

We remove application videos or copies of other assessment materials once they are no longer needed for reviewing or matching you. Deleting a link we hold does not delete a video from an account you control. Service providers may retain backup or security records under their own policies; we do not use those copies for ongoing advising.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete information, or stop contacting you, at team@aisafetyseeding.org. We may ask for enough information to verify the request. If a specific legal requirement prevents deletion of a record, we will explain what we must retain and why.
